Fun in No Sun - Solar Eclipse Party
There is a rare event coming to your city! To attend, all you’ll need to do is step outside and look up! Later this August, (on August, 21 exactly) a total or partial solar eclipse will pass over cities all across North America. The sun, moon, and earth all have to perfectly align to form an eclipse. According to USA Today, “On average, a total eclipse is visible from any one spot on Earth about once every 375 years. An Evening of Clown Magic
International Clown Week (August 1st to 7th) is just around the corner. To celebrate, we suggest having a spectacular clown magic show. You can teach a few basic tricks to the community residents, enjoy animal balloon making, and more! Everyone is fascinated by magic – children, adults and older people alike. Our collective fascination with the mystery of magic makes this event a lot of fun for all age groups. Image source: Pixabay Managing the event A local clown or magician can be hired for the event to perform a magic show and also teach the community residents a few basic tricks. Outdoor Community Camp-out
What could be more exciting than an evening spent on camping? Everyone dreams of camping – but not everyone can trek out to the wilderness due of time constraints and budget limitations. To beat this we suggest planning a community camping party – residents of all ages are bound to love it! Select a Location For this event to work, your community needs large open spaces that will fit a bunch of tents. The party can be hosted in one spot on the main community ground, or you can allow tents to be pitched all around the community. Setting it up Set up the tents, keeping in mind the practicalities of movement and safety. Consider how to keep the area well-lit without ruining the effect of a night camp-out. ...
