Fancy Fun-due! Host a Cheese or Chocolate Fondue Party!

A fondue party is a delicious and inexpensive event. It can easily be dressed up into an adult evening out, or made kid-friendly with the addition of healthy children’s snacks.

For adults, think gourmet cheeses and “adult” fondue recipes with more kick and spice:

Whisky Cheese Fondue

Crab Fondue

Cheesy Roasted Jalapeno Fondue

For children, try milder fondue recipes served with and bite-size veggies and bread bites

Here are some child-friendly fondue recipes:

Cheddar Cheese Fondue

Cheesy Pizza Fondue

Cheddar Cheese Fondue

This can be appropriately decorated and held as a Valentine's Day party or event. It’s also perfect as a “whenever” non-holiday resident event.

Use fresh and seasonal fruits and produce year-round for an “anytime” resident get-together.

Alternatively, you can also put together a chocolate fondue event.

It's the dessert version of a classic fondue - where pieces of vegetables and bread are topped on forks and skewers then dipped into melted cheese. However, with chocolate fondue, party attendees dip pieces of fruit, cookies, or cake into sweet, melted chocolate.

February 5th is Chocolate Fondue Day, so feel free to celebrate the holiday, or fun-due it up any other time of the year!
