Free popcorn, snacks, and movie that everyone is sure to love.

Supplies
-Movie
-Popcorn
-Soda
-Candy/Cookies
-Paper Bowls

Detailed Description
First make sure you have plenty of paper bowls so that kids can have a small portion of popcorn to enjoy while the movie is playing.  Get several bags of popcorn that you can pop throughout the movie to keep the bowl full and the popcorn hot.  Also it never hurts to have a few other snacks to go with the popcorn (candy/cookies work great).
HINT: Have everyone turn in their names on small sheets of paper for a drawing for the movie (dvd) that you just watched.  Now your movie just became a prize and a huge way to promote your event.

As you plan your summer calendars and discuss blockbuster summer events, please be sure to comply with movie licensing. Public movie showing entails knowledge of The Copyright Act. According to The Copyright Act for movies, only the copyright owner holds the exclusive right to show the copyrighted work publicly. CARES Teams must have a license to show a movie to a public audience. Licensing fees will range anywhere from $150-$350 per title. Non-compliance with The Copyright Act is considered infringement and carries steep and significant penalties.

Creative or special ways to promote event:
Fliers and posters. Also promote the fact that you are doing a drawing to give away the DVD of the movie you're featuring.
