Resident Appreciation
During the past two months, our facility has had contractors crawling all over the place, providing many improvements which were awarded through the WEATHERIZATION PROGRAM. My tenants have been great through this period of renovations, allowing access for these contractors who installed 1) new water heaters; 2) new refrigerators; 3) new furnaces and air conditioners; 4) new windows; 5) replacement ductwork in the attic areas; and 6) blown-in insulation in the attic areas. The lives of my tenants have been disrupted frequently through this process, but they have been so cooperative and good-natured. Last week at the Rural Rental Housing Association of Kansas annual conference, I was awarded SITE MANAGER OF THE YEAR, nominated by my tenants and the board of this housing authority. That was a wonderful honor, but the ones who should be acknowledged are the tenants themselves, for their cooperative spirit through this time of renovation. ...

Raising the bar
Because i have a senior community no one once to feel as if they have lost there independence therefore games such as rumnmy 500,spades,uno,bananza name that tune etc should be implemented to get a since of youth. we would have picnic tables along the side walks with games set up at each table and a winning jack pot for the first person who beats all the tables along with music, food, and an area for the pets to get groomed and walked. At the end of the event all residents would recieve a certificate of appreciation for being a resident at your community. Your jack pot can consist of a free shampoo of the whole apartment, gift card of any sort or whatever your budget allows for.
